Struck by Corona: Anniversary Edition of the 25th ART Innsbruck postponed to July 2021

Another well‐known institution has fallen victim to corona in a year that is particularly hard for all art professionals. Due to restrictive measures to curb the spread of the corona virus, the internationally renowned ART Innsbruck has to be postponed to 8 – 11 July 2021. Highly interested and free-spending visitors at the 23rd ART Innsbruck

Last Sunday, the 23rd edition of the Innsbruck art fair once again went into extra time on its last opening day and brought extraordinarily satisfying sales results. “It has been twenty years since we had this situation”, says happily smiling Johanna Penz, foundress and manageress of the ART Innsbruck. On Sunday evening, shortly before the 23rd ART Innsbruck was about to close its gates, there was such a buzz on the corridors and in the booths of the exhibition hall A that Penz decided spontaneously to extend the opening time for another hour, as visitors and exhibitors had asked her to do so.
